Miranda (長老ミランダ Chōrō Miranda, lit. "Elder Miranda") is the leader of the Gitalline people who was once a gitaroo master and the greatest gitaroo player in the universe.
Biography[]
Miranda fought with the Gravillian Empire but failed. As a result, he and the rest of the Gitarians were taken as prisoners on their planet. Miranda contacts U-1 through a miniature broadcast and tells him to rescue them from captivity.
If given the chance, Miranda is the type of person who enjoys bragging about his greatness. He doesn't like to listen to other people during his rants and usually ignores others while he is talking. Since he is responsible for U-1's arrival at Planet Gitaroo, he attempts to take credit for U-1's accomplishments. He is among the many influenced by U-1's performance of Planet Gitaroo's legendary song and recognizes U-1 as a true hero.

- Miranda's design seems to be strongly based off Yoda from the Star Wars franchise due them both being elderly, very short, wearing very similar robes, carrying a cane, and Miranda's hair being shaped very similar to Yoda's ears. Miranda is also a gitaroo master and Yoda is a master of the force.
