Puma (プーマ Pūma), otherwise known as Puma AC30 (プーマ AC30 Pūma AC30), is U-1's talking dog friend and mentor. He's the one responsible for giving U-1 his gitaroo to become Gitaroo Man and taught him how to use it.
Biography[]

For as long as U-1 can remember, Puma has been living with him. U-1 thinks Puma as his best friend rather than a pet. When asked when exactly he was born or when he came to U-1's home, Puma states that even he can't remember. Puma has a better grasp of his surroundings than U-1 does, and he even thinks U-1's skateboarding dreams are a hopeless pursuit. His favorite food are doughnuts and he loves asking U-1 to get him some during their free time.
